Catch-up

Wow! It has been some time since I've been able to sit down at a computer and type. Even now, I only have a few precious minutes before Katie wakes up from her nap, so here is a brief synopsis of what the Vernons have been up to lately (sorry, no pictures this time):
June 19th: We left Mesa for Salt Lake City. Spent the night in Page, AZ, and then arrived in SLC on the 20th.
June 24th: We left SLC, for Hebgen Lake, Montana. Spent the next three weeks (only 1 1/2 for Andy) at the cabin. Katie loved swimming in the lake, looking at nature, and eating sand. She also (finally!) learned to pull up and cruise around on furniture or walk with assistance.
July 8th: Andy flew back to AZ to start his final year of dental school.
July 15th: Sara and Katie came back to SLC from Montana.
July 22: Andy came back to SLC to start a four week intership.

This brings us up to speed (more detailed accounts to come later, including Katie's trip to Cherry Hill and why my dad let her eat pinecones). We just wanted you all to know that we have not vanished off the face of the earth. She is awake, so I must fly!
